We arrived in Victory Liner terminal (Cubao) at 4 am-ish and to our luck, the first bus will depart at 5 am. The fare was P 282.00, you have to tell them that you are buying a ticket for San Narciso and not Iba, Zambales because they will charge you more. I think going to Iba could be more than P 300.00
The ride was 4 hours long and you will make a stop for every two hours to take a leak or to buy some food.
Now this is where the bus will drop you off, there is a sign that says “Crystal Beach” and adjacent to that is the San Sebastian Catholic Church.
After you drop off, opposite to the church is the terminal for tricycles where you will spend the next 10 minutes to go to Crystal Beach Resort. The fare is only P 15.00 each so if they charged you more than that, there is a PNP Headquarters located beside the terminal where you can tell on them lol
By the way, if you arrived too early (check in time is 2pm) which in our case was 4 hours early, you can have a lunch. There is a street on the right side of the church. As soon as you see an Acacia Tree, there are cheap canteens there. And if you go further, you will see a market where you can buy fish (if you want to grill) or marshmallows for S'mores.
There you go! Put down your bags and kiss the soil! Once you see that sign, you can calm down now. It clearly says Crystal Beach Resort so go inside and explroe! You will be greeted by the Receptionist to sort out your reservation and while you're at it, you can use their WiFi which is high speed! You can do video call on Skype and upload a quick video on instagram!
They have like a sari-sari store (small variety store) inside. If you forgot to buy food on your trip such as snacks or toiletries you can get it all here. They also offer refreshments!
This is what their canteen looks like, it has an electric fan in every table facing it, a television, and what's awesome is that you can still get access to the WiFi all the way from the Reception area to here!
This is the "House of Shem", it can fit 4 people inside. For the 2 persons it costs P 1,550.00 and for the additional person you have to add P 600.00 inclusions of a single mattress with a pillow and a blanket.
Its a double bunk bed so you don't have to worry who will be sleeping on the floor. It has one electric fan and an emergency light just in case there is a black out (rotating black out is 9:30 am - 10:30 am).
They have a billiard pool too!
If you want to stay overnight but don't want to pay for the rooms, you can bring a tent on your own.
As you can see, if you are a big group you can put up a bonfire for P 200.00 there. Now that's perfect for S'mores and hotdogs!
This is the way to the beach, don't forget to wear your flip flops because the sand burns! (that's not me btw lol)
Now that is what we came here for! Crystal Beach is a huge resort so you can have a long walk at the seashore and you will pass by the other resorts nearby! Just be careful if you're going to take a dip, make sure to not go beyond the "double flag" because there is a trench at the farther right part of the beach. It could be very dangerous!
We went on May 11th until the 13th and there was not much waves, too bad if you want to surf.
Right there you can see Mt Pinatubo.
If you are worried about your skin, or if the sun is too hot, worry no more because there are white umbrellas that are scattered facing the beach. And if you want to lie down, there are mats (banig) there and pillows!
Now, this is what gets tricky. See this bar? it looks normal at daytime but at night..
If you are the type of person who likes hard drink, I'm sorry buddy but they only offer beers.
No its not a cemetery! haha! I had to use a flash on my camera because I can barely take a picture of it without it. Those white tables have candles as a centerpiece that is ran by a battery! So cool! Now look at this video.

You can also spend your team building here with your company because they have all these physical stuffs.
My friends keep saying that the trees resemble Baguio.
I spent about P 4,000 all in all and trust me, it was worth it! So what the hell are you waiting for? Stop all the excuses and go visit this paradise now! And oh, one more thing they usually have an event every summer but we missed that because it happened in April, that's why we are going back next year! (We heard that its star-studded!)
Have I mentioned the beautiful sunset?
